Low Cost Bundles to fill your Digital Library

A lot of folks these days, myself included, still opt to cling to traditional print media when they can.

However, when most novels come in at a painful $16AUD each, my poor student’s shelf remains pretty empty.

As usual though, Humble Bundle comes to the rescue with not one, not two but three book/comics bundles available at the moment.

Bizzare Books

“This is one bizarre bazaar. Chronicle Books hopped on the caravan to Humble and brought a mini marketplace of some of their oddest titles. Get Cats Are Weird, Chain Saw Confidential, How to Swear Around the World, Zombies Hate Stuff, and lots more.” – Humble Bundle Summary

I myself have a pretty great beard but there are some facial hair enthusiasts out there who might not be gifted with the same natural shape. This is where ‘The Moustache Grower’s Guide’ comes in, including illustrated instructions for all sorts of tastes and growing abilites.

Maybe you’ve been bitten by the travel bug and need some essential information for how to behave in various contries. In that case, ‘How to Swear Around the World’ is perfect for you. It contains all the essential information you need for your overseas adventures.

Grab it here.

Game Studies

“OMG, MIT is here with a bundle of great selections from their game studies catalog. Pick up titles like How Games Move Us: Emotion by Design; Super Power, Spoony Bards, and Silverware: The Super Nintendo Entertainment System; Developer’s Dilemma: The Secret World of Videogame Creators; and more! We’ve never MIT a book from this press we didn’t like.” – Humble Bundle Summary

Some people chose to study Game Studies at a university, other people chose to save themselves thousands of dollars by simply finding the information themselves.

With titles like ‘Play Between Worlds: Exploring Online Game Culture’ and ‘How Games Move Us’ you can ask the big questions about games and find the answers.

Video games can be a lot more than just fun distractions and moving experiences, how much more? Well that’s for you to read the works of authors such as Celia Pearce and Casey O’Donnell to find out.

Gaming Comics Bundle

“Comics about games? Our Humble dreams have come true. Titan Comics is back with a library of awesome titles like Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Warhammer: Dawn of War III, Dark Souls: Winter’s Spite, and The Evil Within: Interlude. These are a few of our favorite things.” – Humble Bundle Summary

There are a few things I genuinely adore in this world: video games, writing and reading. This bundle went ahead and combined two of those and frankly I’m thrilled.

Assassins Creed fans, we know there’s a lot of you, will be absolutely thrilled with this one because it’s jampacked with AC comics!

There’s also a few titles for The Evil Within, Dishonored and Dark Souls. Oh and there’s a Dawn of War III comic but let’s be honest, we’ve all just collectively agreed Dawn of War III didn’t happen.

You can grab this bundle of AC Comics and friends right here.
