we have had our first dead in Dragon Ball Super’s Tournament of Power and it was Android 17, the improved Universe 7 fighter.
Yes, technically we have seen many deaths at the hands of Zeno, however, this was the first death that resulted on the actual Tournament of Power arena.
Now Universe 7 only have three fighters remaining in the battle royal, with about 3 minutes remaining.
Even though Android 17 wasn’t seen helping Frieza with a barrier just like he did for Vegeta and Goku, it seems as if Frieza has survived as well.
Otherwise, we would have seen one of two things, the first would have been Jiren being disqualified, as that final blast that Android 17 took would have surely killed the injured Frieza.
While the other outcome would have been Frieza narrowly surviving and then appearing on the sidelines next to the rest of his teammates.
However, neither of those happened, which means we should assume that Frieza has somehow survived and will continue to take part in the Tournament of Power.
Although, we probably won’t be seeing too much of Frieza in episode 128 of Dragon Ball Super, as he will likely be too injured still.
Meanwhile, according to the preview for episode 128, Goku is also struggling to keep up with the Universe 11 Pride Trooper.
But luckily for Universe 7’s survival chances, Vegeta can still compete. Vegeta will use the thought of his loved ones as motivation, just as the Saiyan prince did against Toppo.
We are unsure how Vegeta will do and it’s unlikely that Vegeta can replicate the technique that he used to knock out Toppo from the Tournament of Power.
It will be interesting to see how Vegeta goes, as it is possible that he too could be pushed to the extreme and maybe unlock Ultra Instinct just like Goku did.
However, that’s just speculation at this point, so for now, you can see the preview for episode 128 of Dragon Ball Super in the preview in the video below.
