Supergirl: Episodes 1 & 2 Review

We’ve all heard of Superman. I remember watching Superman when I was little (I had a CD with full episodes) and he was really awesome!

Yesterday, I was bored. I was randomly searching for TV series online and found Supergirl. I know Supergirl has 2 seasons out, but I only started watching it this late, lol.

First of all, I’d like to say that Supergirl can be enjoyed by both genders. It’s not girly just because it has a female superhero as a MC. So, if you’re a guy that is wondering if you should watch it or not, you’d better take my advice.

Probably most of you have watched this show, or heard of it.

But if you haven’t watched the first 2 episodes of the first season, do not read any further. There will be lots of spoilers below, so beware.

Kara Zor-El is a girl sent to Earth to protect her little cousin. But when she arrives on Earth, her cousin AKA Superman is not a little baby anymore. Without any mission to accomplish, she starts living with the Danvers, a family that adopts her.

The first episode is really good in my opinion. Kara decides to become a superhero because the people of the city need her by catching a falling plane (so original, duh) This is a scenario used in Superman too (and also Batman’s comic) I hate clichés, but I enjoyed the pilot nevertheless.
