Masashi Kishimoto’s Original Plans For Uchiha Itachi Will Surprise You

The brother of Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi is easily one of the most loved characters in the Naruto series and he deserves it too.

Itachi was born into the proud Uchiha clan and first entered the series as an escaped cold-hearted criminal, who had slaughtered his entire clan for little reason.

It is no wonder Sasuke spent the majority of his early life trying to kill this man however; Itachi’s true story was quite different.

Instead it was later discovered that Itachi was literally the definition of Konoha’s “Will of Fire”. His love for his brother and village surpassed his love for his parents and clan, causing him to chose one over the other.

To prevent the disgrace of his clan’s name, more casualties and war of course, he had to sacrifice the lives of the Uchiha. Itachi also lied to his brother so that he could develop his skills, hating him and grow stronger than Itachi himself.

In the end Itachi died and his secrets were revealed to the world but was this Masashi Kishimoto’s original plan for Itachi? Or was it very different? Find out on the next page.
