Slime Rancher is a first person sort of farm-simulation/exploration game that has you wrangling slimes on a distant planet.
For some reason (and don’t ask me why) I felt the game reminded me of titles like Stardew Valley or even Animal Crossing. They certainly have the farming aspect in common; even if Slime Rancher focuses on, well, ranching. Slime Rancher, however, doesn’t have the same social aspect of the above two. You won’t be speaking with fellow slime ranchers face to face as you wonder the planet, but you may just get an email or two instead.
This is by no means a bad thing. Slime Rancher is a great way to unwind and relieve stress, even after playing another particularly frustrating videogame. It’s invites you to sit down, tend to cutesy slimes and have the fun of exploring a foreign world.
