I know what you’re thinking, hasn’t this already been done? Well it has but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen again although, I did predict that this may happen in an article I wrote a few months ago.
According to the Anime Blog, we will see a new addition to universe 7’s team in the upcoming weeks, despite the conformation of the teams 10 members’ months ago.
According to this source episode 93 of Dragon Ball Super will be, “You are the 10th warrior: Goku goes to find Freeza!
Now they did state that this is not official or 100% confirmed just yet however; they have insisted that it is from a reliable source in GovetaXV.
Remember Toyotaro, who is behind the DBS manga did warn us about believing the members for the upcoming tournament of power, 100% were locked in.
We also have to take into account that episode 92’s title indicates that someone is missing from the tournament, who is it? We don’t know, all we know is that they have to be replaced.
If it the Anime Blog are correct and Freeza is resurrected, many fans may find frustrating as this has already been done in Super recently. Some may ask why not bring back Cell?
Well yes, Cell could potentially train and go beyond Freeza’s power, transforming into Super Saiyan Blue or Freeza’s Golden form. However, we have to take into account that there isn’t enough time fro Cell to train and get stronger.
Freeza is already strong so it would make sense for him to be resurrected although, it would be difficult to control him, let alone make him agree to partner up with Goku and Vegeta.
As we got to see in Dragon Ball Super, Freeza was still scared of Beerus despite him unlocking his Golden transformation, which could act as a way of controlling him.
But if Freeza is returning, who is leaving? Buu could possibly fall asleep again but that would be annoying considering how hard he has worked.
We should also take into account that episode 93 could be nothing more than filler, for example there could be someone missing and Goku needs to replace them.
Goku could then try and recruit Freeza but fails, as it’s unlikely Freeza would agree to help. As a result Goku returns disappointed and out of nowhere the missing person appears, meaning that the original team still competes.
That is another possibility, as the apparent title for episode 93 doesn’t say that Goku succeeds in recruiting Freeza, only that he will ask him for help.
IT’S CONFIRMED NOW!
