We are slowly moving closer and closer to the Tournament of Power, where Goku and Gohan are starting to recruit the team needed to protect their universe.

Episode 84 focussed on the recruitment of the experienced Krillin and his powerful Android wife #18 however, Gohan was worried about Krillin not being capable of holding his own in the battles to come.

That turned out to be a mistake, with Gohan demanding a fight with Krillin, in order to get an accurate gage of his current strength.

But due to Gohan underestimating his opponent, its was Krillin who prevailed, which is something most fans would never have in their wildest dreams even imagined, using a new found technique that Krillin only recently acquired.

Next up was Goku who also wanted to test the power of his of old best friend and Krillin agreed, giving it his all and even forcing Goku to transform into a Super Saiyan.

Later Goku went even further, using his Super Saiyan Blue transformation and fired a Kamehameha Wave at Krillin, where he responded with the same attack however, not nearly as strong.

Technically Goku lost as he forfeited but in reality Krillin was no match one-on-one against his friend however, all doubts that the Saiyan duo previously had about Krillin, has now been erased.
