Nintendo Switch Details and Release Soon!

With the recent Nintendo Switch event last month and the console being release exactly a month from now, it would be great to give out all the full details from the event that is concrete including things like the games launch titles and prices for all areas of the console, etc.

So far from the get go the console is launching worldwide on March 3rd 2017 in two different colour schemes: one in the all grey with grey Joy-Con controllers or with a Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con set. Now the price for the console overall is different in each country/region but ranges from $299.99 in the America, $469.95 in Australia, 29,980 yen in Japan and in Europe you’ll have to check up the country you’re living in. Thankfully the console is not the most expensive part of the whole system.

Accessories like the Pro Controller, extra Joy-Con pairs, docking station, etc. will be different prices just like the console itself but fair warning as the accessories can get pretty expensive. There will be more new accessories to come like portable chargers, headphones, carry cases but that has yet to be fully announced so we will have to wait for those.

Now as for games that were shown to be available from launch in physical and digital form includes The Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild, 1-2 Switch, Just Dance 2017, Skylanders: Imaginators, Super Bomberman R, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, World of Goo, Little Inferno, I Am Setsuna, and Human Resource Machine.

There are also many other games coming after launch for 2017 such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Snipperclips, ARMS, Splatoon 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Pokemon Stars, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and a new Fire Emblem.

That’s just for the first party games Nintendo talked about, thankfully there are lots of third party support for the console which is a step in the right direction as Nintendo didn’t have that for the Wii and the Wii U only had a small amount of third party games. The games to come include NBA 2K18, Project Sonic, LEGO City Undercover, Has Been Heroes, Disgaea 5 Complete and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim just to name a few.

And there’s still more games to come that other companies have mention that are in works for the new Nintendo System. Many games from places like Square Enix with new Dragon Quests X and XI, EA with more sports games like Sports FIFA, Namco Bandai with the acclaimed Dragonball Xenoverse 2 as well as New Travis Touchdown and Tales RPG series and Capcom’s Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challenger’s.

Nintendo is making a great path for the console in the games so far but only time will tell. There are a lot of amazing first party games coming out as well as second and third party developers with it and within this year and next the console will be going for high standards.

So far we know that the Nintendo Switch is powered by Nvridia Mobile Terga Processor which is a custom made one especially for the console and kits that are similar to tablets.

Apparently from leaked sources that have been confirmed by Digital Foundry that the specs reveal that there is a difference between the system being docked on the TV and undocked when playing on the tablet even though the system has the same CPU. The machine’s embedded memory controller runs at 1600MHz while docked but undocked it is clocked down to 1331MHz. It is no slouch but the Nintendo Switch is not on PC level like expected but runs similarly to the PS4 Pro, etc. It can handle above 1080p60 on the TV and around 720p30-60 on the go.
