Crunchyroll Has Announced Their Own Convention

Crunchyroll has over 1 million paid subscribers and as a result the have announced their own convention.

The expo will be held on the 20th to 27th of August at theSanta Clara Convention Centre in the US, but in my opinion Crunchyroll doing this is a little odd.

I mean I do understand why they are doing it as the have millions of fans, but I feel it wont be as good as   Madman, doing there Madfest and Supernova.

Plus many fans believed that Crunchyroll’s 2016 Anime Awards was a bit broken, so this announcement after that confuses me.

As a result I can see two ways this convention will go.
1. It’s just full of Yuri on Ice fans and guys holding Rem body-pillows going KAWI DETSU CRUNCHYROLL SIMPIE SAMA KUN CHAN!!!

2. Or a lot of people who enjoy all kinds of anime, including one room.

At the end of day Otaku’s will most likely attend the event and with millions of fans, Crunchyroll should already know how to please their fans.

So what do you think? Is Cruchyroll hosting this convention a good thing? Or will it become another anime awards moment? Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
