If you are a Naruto fan then things are going to get very interesting in 2017, as Naruto Gaiden and Boruto the next generation are going to get an anime adaptation.
We have seen Naruto Shippuuden continue since the anime’s official story ended a few months ago, with the boyhood arc and the hiden series, which we are seeing now.
So when fans were starting to get worried about their series looking set to end, we received a it more than we first thought.
This is because of the enormous following Naruto Shippuuden still has, and in no way did they want that fandom to lose interest.
Now Naruto fans will be able to see Naruto Gaiden, which is Naruto as the 7th Hokage, set just before the Boruto movie released last year.
After that we will see Boruto the son of the 7th Hoakage and the grandson of the 4th Hokage, all with his friends from the next generation, get their anime story told.
Both of these are expected to hit our screens mid-way through 2017, with the news being announced during the 2016 Anime Jump Fiesta.
But that’s not all, with it also being rumoured that we will see an anime adaptation for the Mitsuki manga chapters as well.
However, we are unsure if this will be before the Boruto anime or during it, as filler or as an external quick arc.
For those who don’t know, Mitsuki is the son of Orochimaru and teammate of Boruto and Sadara, Saskue’s daughter, and there is a lot of mystery about his origins, as you would expect.
So if you are a Naruto fan, you are going to absolutely love 2017, with so much anime coming your way.
